Overview

The Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVA) in Animation and Game Art is a four-year undergraduate program that merges artistic creativity with digital technology to produce skilled visual storytellers and game designers. It equips students with the conceptual and technical expertise to create high-quality animations, characters, and immersive gaming experiences.

The curriculum encompasses Drawing Fundamentals, Visual Design, 2D & 3D Animation, Character Modeling, Storyboarding, Game Design Principles, and Motion Graphics. Advanced courses in Visual Effects (VFX), Digital Sculpting, and Interactive Media expose students to industry-standard tools and production workflows.

Students gain professional experience through studio-based projects, portfolio development, internships, and collaborations with animation and gaming studios.

Graduates can explore careers as 2D/3D Animators, Game Artists, Concept Designers, VFX Artists, or pursue entrepreneurial ventures in media, gaming, and entertainment industries.

Eligibility for Admission

A candidate who has passed two years Pre-University Examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in the State of Karnataka or any other examination considered as equivalent thereto shall be eligible for admission to these programmes.
